The Institute of Cancer Research in association with The Royal Marsden Hospital has established a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Dexela. The two year project has been awarded funding by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
The project's objective is to characterise Dexela's novel X-Ray imaging system for digital breast tomosynthesis and the processing of resultant image data for the early detection of breast cancer. The Knowledge Base Partner is the Joint Department of Physics of The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and the Royal Marsden Hospital. The project will also involve the leading radiology department at the Marsden.
