Based in London, Dexela is a developer of innovative technologies for fast, low-dose X-ray imaging. Formed in 2004, Dexela pioneered developments in breast tomosynthesis. In 2009, Dexela launched a family of flat panel CMOS X-ray detectors ideally suited to breast tomosynthesis and a range of other applications including mammography, fluoroscopy, dental CBCT, cardiology, angiography, bone densitometry and non-destructive testing (NDT).

Dexela introduces fast, low noise CMOS x-ray detectors
Dexela has introduced a family of CMOS X-ray detectors based on an innovative CMOS sensor design that combines unprecedented speed and superior image quality. The product range includes the largest available CMOS X-ray detector: 29cm x 23cm.


Dexela begins collaboration with IMS on tomosynthesis
Dexela Limited has begun a five year collaboration and licensing agreement for breast tomosynthesis with digital mammography manufacturer IMS S.R.L. of Bologna Italy. The companies are working together to bring to market an optimised breast tomosynthesis system that will offer the highest quality breast tomosynthesis and FFDM imaging.
